Very easy to use. Great for music and everyday questions. Bought two already

My son bought this for the Xbox to play Destiney. He loves it. And it was pretty cool when a) it would guess correctly every time (well, almost) when playing 20 Questions. And b) when he changed the wakeup name from "Alexa" to "Computer" and then let my try out some old ST commands! :) But, I'm still not sold enough on it's security to leave it out and plugged in all day... (that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars, instead of the 5 my son suggested). Maybe some day (soon, I'd hope!)... I love it's potential!!

I have 3 now. Great way to play music, get weather and control fans/lights.

Ask Alexa and she knows, want to hear a certain song she can play it.

Was as described. Fun playing with but need more items to make it more useful

Nice for the kids rooms. Let’s us use them as an intercom system. Not as good as the 3rd gen dots but good for the money.

Alexa is fun, useful and amazon music is simply the best! I would recommend this to everyone. My only concern is that I feel like she should be just a little smarter or maybe be able to understand questions a little better but I'm sure there will be a program update for that. Example: "Alexa, What time is The Greatest Showman playing near me?" She didn't answer until I phrased it, "Alexa, what are the show times for the greatest showman at ______ cinema ______?" Overall though the Echo Dot is pretty great!

I have purchased several echo dots and echos in the past for gifts so this one was for someone who I hadn’t yet got one for. I personally have a couple echo dots, an echo touch and the fire stick with alexa and love them. They are continually updating the programs and available apps. I also use them to control lights and for music via Bluetooth speakers in my home.
