The far-field microphone is surprising accurate and even recognizes me over top of music playing. The app helps to manage things as well. My daughters name is Alyssa so sometimes Alexa gets confused when I yelling throughout the house but it's more entertaining then annoying. I have had some issues with the "drop in" feature disabling the voice recognition, which is then resolved by resetting the device which isn't a lot to do but definitely more then I care to do on a daily basis.

Convenient device at a great price

I have had it for a few months now and find it to be extremely useful. Very convenient simply saying "Alexa" and a command, rather than having to do certain tasks manually. I find it most useful for connecting to Spotify and the daily headlines/weather report. It also syncs well with my Bluetooth devices. Great product.
