It's awesome for grocery list, diner ideas and menus. It's fun to ask Alexa random questions just to get a laugh at her replies. Actually thinking about getting Smart home stuff (thermostat, outlets, switches, etc.) now.

With Alexa I'm enjoying controlling everything. I've yet to use it for streaming music and things like that. More for voice activated home automation. Will be getting one for my bedroom, so I don't have to shout to the one in the living room to turn off my lights.

Good but echo better.

Thought we'd enjoy dots just as much, but speaker quality weak, doesn't respond as efficient, so we gave them to our kids for their rooms. The positive is these work really well in a small room. Kids use for alarms, play songs and ask about weather. It's similar to Siri on I phone, but hands free.
