Good for a second Alexa device we purchased for our kids room so they could listen to music at night

No more looking for my phone to get the forecast, just ask. Some things on TV much the same. It actually is a little limited but my understanding is that it will continue of learn. It's nice though just to tell it what you need and if it's within its knowledge it will tell you. The replies are much more spot on than my iPad.

Love using this even my young kids use it very easy

I love my Dot. I use it for timers, alarms, cooking questions, weather, to listen to the radio, add things to my shopping and to-do lists, besides many other things. The shopping list tied the the app is awesome. We have the big Echo and 3 Dots in the house. One of the Dots will serve as our radio/speaker on camping trips.

Easy to set up and use............................

I initially purchased this product to use with Amazon better. However, I found the benefits of home automation to be far more what I would use this system for. I really like the alarm clock and asking the weather or news. We have two in our home and are very happy--it's so easy to tell our Dot to shut our lights off now.

I purchased a second Echo Dot for my mother. She has a Dot in her living room and her bedroom. She can now call me from anywhere in her home if she falls. All she has to say is Alexa Call Shell or any of her contacts. I also have many of her lights set up with Phillips Hue or iHome Smart plug. She loves Alexa!

Its a good one, cheap and easy to use, try it once.

I purchased my echo after seeing all the advertisements for it on tv and online and I was skeptical at first. That quickly changed! The setup was incredibly fast and simple and not a day goes by that I don't use my echo dot. I highly recommend this product and have recently purchased another one for a friend.

If you’re looking at this, skip it and get the 3rd gen, looks better and sounds better.

Use this for information,calendar,and alarm. LOVE IT

Alexa is my new best friend. She wakes me in the morning, tells me the weather, loops my favorite songs, tells me how to get stains out of my blouse and has a great recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I bought 3 more of these Echos during Black Friday to give as gifts and everyone loved it. Happy, happy, happy.
