Best new gadget to come along since Iphones! This little item does it all. It works best when its closest to you. The music it plays is a let down, unless you have amazon prime, but I'm sure they will work out all the kinks. Most music I wanted it to play was a "sample" or "live" version of the song. But I love it!

We have set these up throughout our home to use as cheap and effective intercom system. Now we use them for that as well as other fun and functional tasks from playing Jeopardy to findig the weather. It is very useful in the kitchen as a time as well. It can keep multiple timers at the same time.

Echo Dot is great. Use it for local weather, news and music. Works well with Pandora and other apps.

these are great. the kids use it to check the weather for school, learn fact or even get a new joke.

this paired with amazon music unlimited is amazing. It pairs flawlessly with my Bose Bluetooth speaker.

If Alexa could announce smarthome events, it would be cool. Not as smart as google search.

Already have an Amazon Echo. My granddaughter wanted an Echo dot for Christmas. This device works well.

This was bought as an add-on to the Echo set up was easy and works just alike the Echo in another room.

This amazing little piece of hardware has been a blessing. The short time that I've had it has been great. I love the fact that it has good sound recognition and is able to pick up commands from across the room, even with noise disturbances. It is a powerful little device that seems to have endless possibilities.

Alexa is great. The Echo Dot is sufficient for its purpose. Playing music through the speaker is sufficient for a kitchen, but not likely good enough for a get-together. It is great for home automation. When paired with our Smartthings Hub, voice commands for light, garage doors, end of day home locking, etc.

In conjunction with my Harmony remote and hub, this product allows my family to say 'Alexa, turn on the TV' and that alone is worth it. In addition, I can link it up to Amazon's services and have it play music or provide personalized news among other things. I would like to see Apple Music and SiriusXM added...

I was dead set against my wife purchasing this product. I mean I still use a Flip Phone. I've been in IT for 47 years and just don't get excited about these so called AI products. But since having 'Alexa' @ My beck & call especially for music (I'm also a musician) I just don't know how I managed without her!

I love our echo systems. We have 2 already and this was a third to add to our room. The whole system is great and allows for you to automate your home. I was super afraid to jump into home automation especially since I was concerned that I might like it and have to spend way too much money. I was right!
