Really enjoyed how versatile this little gem is. The music is just right for my upstairs office where I don't need a lot of volume while I read or work on the computer. I did lose connection after Hurricane Harvey hit due to a loss of wi fi for three weeks, but it is back up and performing like a champ.

Big disappointment thus far. Alexa, weather - no problem. Alexa, local business in zip code - say what? It is of no use to me to get answers to simple questions like the phone number or address of a local business. It can't answer most simple questions. It will play your music okay, and use Tune-In quite well, but that's the only value I've found in it so far.

Makes life a little simpler.. to bad that you have to buy other items to do what they show in tv ads...

I have these in almost every room in the house. I wish the Apple HomePod was this affordable.

We are having fun with our Eco, it is awesome to ask questions or make requests and get them answer right away. We play music at night and ask Alexa to turn it off at certain time and she is really good following requests. We just started playing with it, so I can not wait to discover more things.

Echo is a fun and useful gadget. Just wish it could answer more types of questions without having to add skills and then remember how to ask it the question depending on what skill you need to use. Would be better if you did not have to name the skill as part of the question as you have to do for many of them.

The Amazon Echo Dot is a great IoT device that all of the family will enjoy. Sometimes it seems that we only use it for playing music and checking the weather. After reading further there are more things you can do with it but just haven't made it to that level yet. Hopefully we will advance to a higher level.

Great price, connect to your bluetooth speaker and you're set. Cheaper than having to buy an echo.

I have Alexa in my living room, I purchased the dot for my grandsons room. He loves it, the limited volume is a plus for him (no blaring music like we have downstairs). I was so impressed I got one for my bedside table, I can lull off to music, an audio book, set an alarm ... and small enough not to clutter

As an older person, I don’t see the value of having another device that is on WiFi. I can use my smart phone instead of asking Alexa!

Alexa makes it easy to find information in a hurry, to check the time, weather and even your calendar.

Alexa still needs improvements, but from what I read Amazon is currently working on commands every day

I have an echo which has a wonderful speaker so i wasnt expecting much out of the little dots. I must say my expectation didnt match reality. The speaker on the dot is quite nice and for small spaces i have no problem listening to music on them. I have bought many of these for my friends and they all love them.

This is great when I walk in the house when it is dark. Alexa turn on lights and wa la, they turn on.

I own the Echo & Echo Dot. I purchased several Dots for Christmas gifts. All I can say is what's not to like? Using Alexa for shopping list, things to do, weather, news to listen to white sounds, have books read for me, whew! I could go on & on, but I think you get the message! This is an awesome product!!!!

I bought this for my sister for Christmas and she loves it. It's great for the price.

I bought it as a Christmas present for my husband; However, the entire family uses it. We have hooked up our light dimmers and love the convenience to turn lights on and off. The only issue we had was with setting up the playlists and getting Alexa to play it. Once we figured it out, we were set!

We already had one and love the convenience of checking on the weather. Love all the questions you can ask and facts that you can find out. Also great when making Christmas cookies and need some Christmas music playing in the background! So we bought another one for our guest area.
