I bought two of these for my moms house. She uses it to keep track of my grandma ... :)

I purchased this on the advice of a Best Buy consultant as it is very useful for someone like me that uses Amazon's music/streaming services as their main source of music. I was so impressed with the one I bought, that I bought a few more to put in various rooms around my house. As well as having music and Amazon Echo access in all these rooms, it acts as a great intercom system using the Amazon "drop in" functionality.

Great personal assitant, can also control lights, play music, etc. Cheapest always on Alexa device.

Listen to it daily. Especially music.my husband loves jazz. Now it's available with just a request.

Does almost everything I need. Wish she were a bit smarter in some area but would highly recommend.

The echo dot itself works well but the app has issues. I enabled skills but device would tell me that the skill was not enabled. I may just need to uninstall/reinstall app which was frustrating. Bought on sale and works well with Wemo plugs so overall i am satisfied with the product. Only issue I had is what I stated earlier...still a cool little device.

The echo is everything as advertised . And I found the built in speaker is adequate for normal use.

This device can be the center of your home automation. Plus you can command things with your voice.

We really like echo dot. Fun to play around with asking questions. Son loves playing music with it.

My late girlfriend had this for less than a year before she died last May. She loved being able to listen to radio stations over the Internet from her South Carolina home area as she was in Kentucky, and liked playing Jeopardy. I will be inheriting it as a momentous of her.

Brought for kids. They use for school n homework. Wouldn’t trade for anything else.

Nice Gadget - not sure must have device. Need to buy extra devices to get to nicer features

Having so much fun with Alexa! Great for turning on lights when not at home...checking weather...answers many trivia questions and will tell jokes and sing a song and much much more! Still learning what capabilities the echo has and plan to buy the show and camera next!! Speakers work great!

I use this dot, primarily, as a control device for my Hue lights and to play music on my Sonos speakers. It does the job with no problems. The internal speaker is not as good as that included in the larger Echo devices but that is as advertised and as expected. No problems with the Echo Dot.

I use this with my smart home and absolutely love it. My wife thought it was silly until I showed her how to use it and now it's part of our busy lives and an amazing helper. Tell it to shut off all my lights or play a lullaby for my baby. Also tell it to set a timer for when we are cooking. Slam dunk amazon
