We are often asking Echo questions and we are answered. We like having it around.

Alexa is a convenient way to stream music and automate some things at home. Is it perfect, no, but it is fun for my kids to pick their own music and it is nice to be able to ask some questions that I would normally ask my wife to research while I am doing the dishes or cleaning up.

Yeah....we fell in love with this thing so quick the first night we bought two more. One for the bedroom, and one for the kitchen. We also recently bought a Google Home as Alexa isn't great at answering general info type questions but integrates with our home automation better than Google.

Bought one to figure it out before giving as a gift. Now we use the Dot everyday.

I have an echo on the main floor and a dot on the second floor and basement. All share the same commands except for Harmony. Each dot controls a separate Harmony hub and works perfectly. Lights are controlled by the dots thru an Insteon hub from Smarthome. Very happy with the results.

The Amazon Echo Dot is a great device for home automation. It’s easy to setup and use but it was a little confusing at first trying to figure out how to get it to cut off lights and things, but once you figure out how to add skills and train them, everything works fine. Wish the audio were a little better, but I also have the Amazon Echo which does have better sound. Overall great product.

Got it Black Friday for my son. He loves it and wants to eventually upgrade so he can access the light on/off feature.

Bought this for use in the basement. Will be pairing it with a bluetooth speaker soon.

We bought this for our parents to use for simple things like music and just asking Alexa random questions. We mainly got it for them to use as a intercom system. So if one of them needs help they can get a hold of the other one without walking to the other part of the house.

The echo dot is a great product to have. Have not had any problems but still learning. As an example, asked to play some R&B music....told me "sorry, I can't help you with that". I have uploaded apps like read a book. Interesting piece of electronic. Good for answering simple questions.

Good features at a great price. Fun to use for all.

I bought one for my son's birthday. Then I had to get another one because my other son wanted one. The store clerk told me the music quality was bad and not very loud but I find the opposite to be true. Even my 4 year old likes to ask "Alexa" questions. She knows a lot of facts!

This product has promise however, on too many occasions it has not connected with the Phillip lights even though I have a Philips hub. Additionally, it will say that Philips light is not responding to the turn on/turn off command; then after a 30-45 second delay the Phillip light actually turns on or off. Its a little frustrating.

This product needs to out due Google on my phone but it can’t as of yet sadly.

I like this product! It gives you information on all topics and responds to all requests
