Been using this for 8 months now and this was my second order for another room. Best purchase i ever made for my home. Integration with every 3rd party device is great and has incredible capabilities. Just wish it would work with Google and then it would be perfect.

Easy to set up. Does what I need. Does more than I am willing to use it for.

Great smart speaker and home assistant. Easy to setup. I didn't have it connected to a bluetooth speaker so I wish it could've been a little bit louder. But I love that the microphones are way better than those on the Google Home, it picks up my voice even in a loud room.

Getting to know Alexa but so far so good use for weather,traffic.stocks,etc.

The dot has worked exactly like the echo with the exception of no speaker. Be sure to have an external speaker set to work with the dot and you should be good to go. One small issue with locating the dot out of 'earshot' of our other echo, but that is purely a location situation.

Well seeing that this is my 12th echo in my house there isn't much to say except, I wouldn't have 12 of them if they weren't a useful device! All lights in and outside the home are controlled by Alexa as well as heating/cooling control and security.

It can do everything the original echo can do, it just doesnt have the speaker capacity/volume. I would still go with the original echo first, but this is a nice companion to go with it. I have one in my bedroom, one in my office, and the original echo in the family room/Kitchen.

Device has a lot of stuff it can do but you have to pay for each thing and she doesn’t speak any other languages!

Low profile, small foot print but all the power behind Amazon Alexa, I can control my Nest, lights, security and many other things using this little gadget, the intercom system works great and can communicate with other dots around the house. A must have for Smart Homes.

excellent home interactive device; good start for converting to a smart home

We have several Dots throughout the house and use them to control multiple smart home items as well as the usual uses. Have to say that I do get frustrated when Alexa can't answer my question but I also have Google Assistant available in those cases.

Hands down the best activated assistant. The echo dot does not have the greatest speaker but works for what I use it for. I use the echo to turn on/off my Hue and Lifx Lights, turn on/off my TV and Xbox with my Logitech hub. I am most stoked about soon to be integration of Sonos.

I think it will be very good, but still trying to learn the system and work with it.

Purchased for father for Christmas gift, we have one and my husband loves it

I am an original Amazon Echo owner, and I wanted to be able to listen to news and music upstairs. I bought the Dot and I am so glad I did. Even though the Dot has a smaller, less responsive speaker, I paired it to my speaker upstairs. Now I can talk to Alexa throughout the house!

I buy Echo dot for control smart lighting, listening music, it works great.

Its pretty easy to set up and navigate the settings.
