It has been fun getting to know Alexa. A few minor glitches, but still useful.

Purchased this for my wife. She has used it a bit, but the novelty quickly wore off. Overall, I believe it will be a great product once we start to add devices such as automatic switches and lights for areas of our home that are very dark. This will enable us to turn them on and off simply by asking "Alexa" to turn them on or off. I love technology, so this is the primary reason I purchased.

While it doesn't sound as good as the full size Alexa, it isn't bad at all. Alexa answers things the same, and setup was a breeze. I have 2 Echo's and now this DOT, and my house has great coverage. The dot moves around easily and stays connected in every location in my house.

Great and easy option to create a smart home. The echo dot is better as an intercom for the home rather than a music speaker. Other Amazon Alexa products have better speakers, but if you want connectivity in every room, you can't beat the price and easy setup.

I purchased the Dot due to the price point and the fact that I wanted to test out Alexa. I am super impressed with Alexa's abilities, she plays music (moderate loudness), sets alarms & timers, and tells me the weather. These are the few functionalities I use the most, I really think she's worth the price, she has some learning to do with music title recognition but otherwise a solid choice.

I like the echo. It is very user friendly and has neat features. Great buy

Gave this to my daughter as a gift. She loves it and mainly uses it to connect turn her room lights off and on. (through a smart plug). For the sale price of $35, you can't beat it. works as expected and I know there are many more functions that she isn't using.

its awesome i just got it yesterday. best buy was quick in delivering. i got it for just 2 days. It would have been nice if there is a male voice option and voice recognition option then I would upgrade it next time

Great and I love Alexa very much. Very responsive and efficient.

Fairly cheap and with 3.5mm audio port, you can connect any speaker to it.

We loved the dot. So much so we ended up ordering the bigger unit as well so have in our bedroom. It is super convenient and it even comes with deals that are offered through it. The only personal downside is that the connection to the Sonos isn't there yet. We have a good amount of smart devices in the house that it connects with, it would have just been perfect if it also hit up the Sonos.

Its a good product. Small and sleak so does not look bad and gets the task done!

This is a device to have in your room or any corner if the house.

The Echo Dot was my first purchase and ignited my "smart home" passion. We connected the Dot to SmartThings and are now able to control our lights with it. My 5yo daughter also loves it since she is able to say "Alexa, Play Kids Bop Kids" and it starts playing music for her.

It has helped to make life a little easier because I am handicap thank you

I bought this around fathers day for myself and it is amazing! I also bought some smart plug ins and it was a great purchase. I love the music part and I already have speakers. After the great experience I bought one for my dad and one for my In Laws on fathers day.

Still need to learn more benefits to using my echo dot but pleased so far

The echo dot is a good companion to our echo. It helps in the living room.

Still trying to learn all Alexia can do but she is a lot of fun to mess with. LOL
