For the price, this is a good buy. Easy to set up and use.

These Echo Dots are awesome around the house. We purchased a few of them and have them placed around the house in various rooms. They are easy to set up, allow us to intercom between rooms if need be as well as ask it questions and listen to music.

Purchased this for my father as a Christmas gift since he is big on technology. Excellent decision! This Echo is a great product for around the house. Not just for playing music or asking questions, but for control of various items around the home. Worth buying!

This is my 2nd Echo Dot device and I use this for home automation. Works great and I'm looking forward to continued integration with other devices. Integration with Samsung SmartThings has been great. Ability to control rooms or entertainment is great.

This is way overhyped but don't get me wrong you want to hear a random song or know what the weather is or even set a timer this is perfect! Alexa doesn't listen very well she randomly starts talking and she doesn't understand the most basic things. If you have an accent don't even bother!

nice product with unexplored uses. i've only gotten into the basics but enjoy researching what is available. being handicapped physically i think the smart home use is attractive. money is the roadblock for what could be helpful. who knows whats next?

The Dot gives greater utilization of The Amazon echo at a reasonable price

Functionally, the dot works just like the Echo. It's simply that the speaker is "less". I easily connected my Dot to a bluetooth speaker to give it better sound and I couldn't be happier. Definitely, a more price conscious choice than purchasing multiple Echos.

My echo devices are making life a little more enjoyable & easier. She sets alarms for us, adds items on to do list, tells us the weather, plays games, turns our lights on/off & plays our favorite song lists! The audio quality is great.

You have to be geeking to love this type of technology (in my opinion). I love the product but use it with caution as just like any other technology can be hacked an overhear something you don’t want heard like social security numbers.

This unit is the previous Echo Dot version 2. It does everything the version 3 Echo Dot does but the volume doesn’t get loud enough to be used in a room as a speaker. But it works great in a tiny room like the bathroom. If you’re going to get a dot get the next version up .

This item was purchased for elderly relative who tends to fall frequently. We have 2 echo dots located in her home so she can ask “Alexa” to call a relative when she falls and needs help. This product has proven to be very useful!

Great value for some real cool AI tech that truly does make life a bit more interesting around the home. I was skeptical but soon realized how usefu this gadget really is... ended up getting an echo show as well and would highly recommend it as wel!

Who knew the the echo would take over the world. This thing is amazing. It controls my lights, thermostat, door locks, garage door opener... through my Vivint system. If you don't have Vivint, get it. By far the leader in Home Automation. Technology is GREAT!!!

The Echo & DOT are AMAZONING Products. The DOT is nice and compact, great for portability & travel. It works almost exactly like the full size Echo, however the speaker quality isn't great on the DOT. I plug my DOT into my SONOS Speaker System. Great product!!!

Blue tooth hook up to a speaker and you have a nice home addition.

It's a perfect garage helper. It helps me take notes of parts. I can set timers for certain things like powder coating. I can set a timer for in between coat times. And when I don't need help I can listen to music. And even lock the door so no one bothers me.

Good learning curve for my parents to learn from. Would buy again.

It's a nice device. I can ask it questions and it gives me answers. It has light attached to it. I can turn off the light by asking Echo. Makes calls and lets me know if I missed anything on my phone. Only down part is that anyone can talk to it. Anyone can ask it to dial a number and it dials. It has to be like Google. Only my voice to dial/call someone.

A simple to use device that is fun and informative for the whole family.
