Alexa is fun, but needs to learn how to answer more complex questions.

The echo dot works great. it definitely better than siri.

Not as responsive as I would like. Also needs improvement on the responses, and speakers that hear.

Great addition to A/V system, smart home, voice-activated living. Shines brightest with Amazon services (Prime Music / Music Unlimited) but also accommodates your Spotify Premium. And so, so, much more. Skills are ever-expanding. Perfect for entry-level Alexa.

Worth the money. Easy to set up. I had one and just purchased another.

I purchased two of these for my son 14yr and daughter 12yr. They love asking it to play music and just ask her random questions. Nice that you can set it up to play other music services like Pandora and iHeart which can be free with commercials.

I enjoy using Alexa to answer quick questions & listening to music.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. I use it more than she does! I have insomnia so I ask Alexa for sleep music or ocean waves and comes right on. Want temp? Just ask. Thai restaurant? Just ask. It's like having a music library in your room. A great value

Great Value for the price! For the price the speakers are good. It will answer a lot of your questions & update you on the latest news & weather. Plus you are able to play you're music on it and take it where ever you have wi-fi & you are able to plug it in!

We love the Echo/Alexa product line. This is our 2nd Echo and I bought it for my 10 yr old son, at his request. Connect it to our Smart Things Hub to control our home automation. Kids like to ask it questions, play music, and set alarms. Fun, fun, fun!!!

I bought the echo dot to tie in my home Lights, did great for my voice commands, but if someone who had a slight accent attempted, "Alexa" had no clue what they were saying. Loved the app, very interesting to see what Alexa is asked when I'm not around....

Amazon Alexa Echo Dot is an informational and fun unit for all ages.Alexa is not up to date on some information but most of it she is.The Echo dot has games that you can play together with your family or even against people from another state.

Great. You may need to reset it every once in a while. Syncs well with the app. Expect ocassional ' Something went wrong. Please try a littlelater' Other than that, a great in-home assistant-weather reminder-alarm!

same precautions as google home, go to the website and look at what its recording you can remove most things be sure to check in the history link under settings, i turn the mic off and use the remote to tell it what i want. it seemed to be picking up things i said at random times. the times when i didn't say her name, so if yer going to go for it pick up a remote to.
