I have the Amazon Echo and a Dot already, but I found a semi-dead spot where I would need to speak louder than I preferred. So I bought another Dot to fix that problem. Now, I'm waiting to see what comes of the rumored Echo replacement with a 7 inch screen.

Bought for my husband who is always looking up information on his phone. I thought this would be a quick way for him to discover information. I didn't want to go with the larger version of the Echo because I didn't know how much use we would get out of it. It is a great product, but I didn't know that I needed to purchase Amazon Prime to get its full use out of it.

This is my first Echo device. I am still getting accustom to using this. I have set up a morning briefing that seem useful. It is connected to my nest, but that's no reason to have it. I tried the call feature and the audio to my caller was poor, won't be doing that again. Wish I would have purchased the 3rd Generation Dot.

Reasonable price.. pretty easy to connect to device..

It gets the job done. It won't fill your house with sound, you don't want to use it to listen to music audio, but for spoken word audio, timers, reminders and all things such, it more than does the job. Best used as a second echo in your home.

Love it, could be a tad bit louder though. overall great item.

I bough the amazon echo dot as a little birthday present for myself and couldn’t have have gotten more than I expected. But I did. Alexa has so many things to learn about and talk you. Just ask away, and Alexa can answer any question you may have.

The amazing echo Alexa system is pretty amazing, I have a large great room, 40ft x 30 ft and it works from anywhere (speaking pretty loudly from some areas..) The build quality isn't as nice as the original dot but it functions just as well. Love it

Very easy setup and love the whole house speaker system

We use the dot for listening to music around the house.

I brought this for a lady who wanted one as I already have no less than 20 Alexa ready amazon products in my home. She absolutely loves it. She calls me for every little that goes on with her purchase but I don’t mind helping.

It listens to you, but can be frustrating. It does things SIRI can't, but falls short where SIRI exceeds. Because it is always listening, it will activate occasionally without you saying the magic words. Ours even connected to a neighbors phone via bluetooth without us asking it to.

love these but the newer one has a better speaker .

Connected to wifi without any difficulty and is still in use daily! I wasn't sure if we wanted/would use but it comes in handy in the kitchen, especially since I don't have to stop what I'm doing to search on my phone.

I am going to love this product more when I learn all of its capabilities. I wish there was a command list. I brought it for my blind Mother. She is older so she has little experience with Google and Apps. Love I don't have to be there with my phone for the device to work. That also wasn't clear.

Overall good but needs a update in order to make responses faster.

Easy to set up and fun to use. Updates to Alexa every week to try.

I received this gift as a Christmas present and must say that the technology is quite amazing. I have a smart phone and utilize this.the same we are use my smart phone on a daily basis. It's an easy go to without having to go to your phone for everything
