The dot is great and is useful in so many aspects throughout my home.

The Dot is easily integrated in all of our main living areas of the house, enabling us Alexa control wherever we are. It has simplified our morning and nighttime routines with easy control of our Hue lights and made streaming music on the fly a breeze.

You can’t beat the price and Alexa works way better than Siri.

The echo dot is great for extending the fantastic features of the Echo. It allows me the opportunity to use my echo in other rooms of the house. My biggest complaint would have to be the sound quality...it is a bit trebly or AM radio sounding. My next purchase will be an echo bluetooth speaker so I can enjoy the rich sound that my echo provides.

Alexa has been the best purchase I have made in a while. The daily news flash updates keep me up to date on local, national and world events and can't live without the weather updates. Looking forward to all the new skills the Echo will have over time.

For $49, I thought even if it turned out to be more of "toy" than a convenient, time saving accessory, I would still be happy with the purchase. However, after adding a few accessories (smart plugs, etc.), it's proved to be an excellent purchase.

Have a question, Alexa will answer it. She also gives great daily deals,just ask her what they are. This is my third Alexa product. I own two dots and the big one. If you do not need the blue tooth speakers, same some money and buy the dots.

This is the 2nd dot I've bought. The speaker is not as good as Echo or Tap but its great for the bedroom or as a starter voice assistant in your home. I control my lights, Tv, and thermostat with Alexa. It does so much more. Definitely work it.

I have enjoyed using my Echo dot. I linked with a Harmony Hub to control my TV, DVD. Player, receiver amp, Also have added a light plug. Have setup a few reminders and routines. I also use it to create list for shopping etc.

Great personal assistant at an affordable price. We bought this to gift for our colleague who came in a short term visit from India, the product works fine there but not all features are working, need more localization to be done on this product.

The Echo Dot (Generation 2) was purchased to be used as an external speaker for a holiday party and worked well. I would recommend this for anyone needing an external speaker with a simple setup as well as a digital assistant.

Love the integration with wemo and harmony hub. The music streaming is great and very easy to use. Have played with some of the other skills which are fun but the main thing for me was the music streaming and home automation and they work as advertised.

The Echo works great delivering clear sound quality.

Works quite well. Does pretty much the same thing as my phone though.

Especially for the holidays is was great that BBY was in stock. Echo Dot and Alexa are great, my daughter loves it. It's her alarm clock, light switch, dictionary and more all rolled into one. I've purchased more to have in other room of our house now.

I use my Alexa for everything. It’s great as an alarm clock. My only con is that it doesn’t have that many celebrities for an alarm. It also doesn’t have Houston mix 95.5 to listen on the radio or as an alarm clock.
