Great conversation piece, great voice recognition, many applications

All aspects seem to work fine. Not used enough to justify price. Must have been an impulse buy.

Really good and really cheap alexa, nice speakers too

Just got the echo dot, so far it’s been good. Love that it reads the news to you in the morning. You can set an alarm to wake you. I’m sure there’s more to it, it’s just taking me longer to get it sorted out. So far I like it!

I bought 4 . 3 as Christmas presents. Kept 1 for myself, Glad I did.

I purchased this on a whim and it took a while for me to realize how useful it can be. We use it as a timer, for weather reports, play music, find local movies and more. I have purchased a second dot for our home and one for my son's apartment.

The echo dot is a great price point for such a high quality device.

Bought this for my own mother and honestly, this is who this is designed for. Someone who isn't super quick with their laptop or cellphone and needs a little extra guidance to find out what time CVS closes or how cold it is out or how long they should bake a pumpkin pie for in the oven. Also, Alexa is always listening. Always.

I have one at home and decided to add a few more around the house, as a speaker for music it is limited in sound quality but for me it suffices to say that for the price and features it is a nice addition to the smart home...

i have the echo and i love it and wanted to purchase the DOT's for family and friends for christmas. they all love them but the only downfall is the speaker. while it was expected to be fairly poor, if you want to play music you really need a bluetooth speaker to go along with the DOT. other than the sound, the things are cool and family and friends love them

The device itself is great. If you are looking for home automation, you will spend a whole lot more money on purchasing wifi devices to connect to Alexa. Just be ready to make the investment if you want to speak to turn on your lights and other stuff.

we love this echo dot. We use it everyday, and i love that it connects to my phone and reminds me of my calendar events. Pretty loud speaker, I like asking alexa for recipes for dinner.

Nice to get such an innovative product and ecosystem that works so well. I look forward to seeing its new advancements each week. There are few products I enjoy using and can recommend so highly. In addition It's been a godsend for my elderly mother.

I was somewhat reluctant to purchase one of these due to privacy concerns but decided to give it a try. It was very easy to setup. The main reason I chose this was because of the speaker aux attachment availability. Very satisfied so far.
