My wife and I enjoy interacting with the Echo. It is very entertaining. We enjoy asking questions and getting the answer without having to research it, or get up. News, weather, music, just ask it's there. We love it.

I got a 3 pack of Echo Dots to try out Alexa. So far we're happy. Using them for SiriusXm throughout the home and to control my Harmony remote. Pleased with results to this point. Only thing I would like would be if each echo could be in multiple "groups" for music playing. Planning to add more devices to the system in the future.

Bought a new TV and sound bar system. Used this to replace my old receiver for radio station playback. Wirelessly connects to the sound bar and streams the stations from iHeart Radio and other free streaming services. Works great!

The Echo Dot is a very useful tool and convenient to have nearby for information or assistance. I have an Echo Show and a DOT in my home and I'm very satisfied, they both come in very handy at times. I brought this one as a gift.

Purchased one each for teenage boys. They love their "personal assistants." Use for music, random questions, setting their own alarms, etc. One has "Echo" one "Alexa" so they don't conflict. One month in and both are still used consistently.

This is a good device if you are engrained in the amazon eco system. The AI is not as smart as the Google Home device. For example, asking it how an animal sounds it reads a Wikipedia type response, while the google home product plays the actual sound. My nest thermostat didn't work easily with the echo, but had an easy setup with google home.

The Echo Dot is a great way to listen to music, gather information, etc in the background while doing things around the home office or house in general. It is especially good for casual music browsing late at night when sleep is illusive.

I purchased Echo Dot and liked it. It is fun to play with it.

I've only just started using my Dot, but I love it! So far I've only hooked up a speaker and a few light switches, but everything is going well. It can get pricey to start adding the upgrades around the house. I've been taking mine very slow.

It works well as an alarm clock. It does not compare to Google when asking it questions.

If you have Amazon Prime, especially Prime Music, the Echo Dot is a nice little product. Some of the skills are impressive and useful, in particular being able to review your appointments for the day. It might be tough to remember the breadth of commands, so I'd think a lot of the features would go unused, but it's still a slick little gadget.

As a stand alone device the Echo dot has a lot to be desired. Its audio quality in the speakers is not great. It is better if you pair it with external bluetooth speakers or stereo. Not the most attractive of the Echos. The smartphone app works fine.

This is just a nice little echo for the price. Sound is ok for voice (so use it for news, weather, etc.,) If you want to use it for music have realistic expectations or plug it into external speakers. The thing is the size of a hockey puck!

Love this item. It has been very helpful in everyday task.

So easy to set up (with my iPhone) now I can daily call up any song I want. It’s also good for making calls (especially to friends with dots) handy for alarms etc, but connect it to a Bluetooth speaker for better sound quality.
