I bought the alexa dot for myself and later purchased one for my niece and mom. I like the choices of music it plays and answers some of my questions. I also purchased "smart outlets" to turn the lights on and off in my home.

This little gadget is definitely a life changer. It's so easy to connect to a bluetooth speaker and stream music just by voice commands.... But it is limited on understanding questions. If it could only search like a Google device does it would be perfect. instead you have to download 'skills' that are difficult to control at times

Easy connect, beware if you use credit card to set up there is a $5.00 per month fee for using it. If you have little kids they can have alexia order things with out you knowing. Then Christmas comes in July lol.

Recieved the product in a bundle purchase for free and can’t wait to start using it! A family memeber we visited during the holidays had one and the family loved it the. And I am sure they will love it now!!!

Great item, small, can connect to the other echo dot

I must confess that I really only use it for the intercom feature so my son has no excuse that he can't hear me calling him and playing music in the kitchen while "cooking". Looking forward to finding out what else this does.

Bought this as a gift for my father. He uses it everyday and my mother uses it while she's cooking to set cooking timers. Overall, Alexa is an excellent voice assistant. I would rate it third behind the google assistant and Siri.

This is a great device. We have the Echo in our bedroom and the Dot in the kitchen area. It's small enough to not stand out, but the sound is very good by itself. Eventually, we paired it with a Bluetooth speaker for better sound quality.

Echo helps me find out information. Sometimes funny.

It took us about 10 mins to setup the DOT and work very nicely! It is a great box for everything you want to know and listen, there are so much fun for everyone! We really like this Dot and regard we didn't get this earlier!

I have two of these in my house — one in the living room the other in my bedroom. I use them to control my lights and speakers mostly. They’re also great for traffic and weather. I bought several more as gifts for Christmas.

Works pretty good, and hope it will get better as I use it.

I already had an echo plus and got 2 echo dots for other rooms in the house. Super convenient for the whole family to listen to music, use as intercoms, set timers or alarms, dim lights, hear jokes, ask Alexa questions, etc.

I received these as a gift. This order was to give as a gift. I love it. Only difference between this and the Echo is the speaker; if you’re not worried about audio quality this is a great choice. As with any tech, it takes time to get use to and has it’s unique oddities. Many skills for useful and pleasant experience!
