I've been using my echo dot now for a few weeks I love it still learning what all Alexa does but she keeps me current on the weather, on time with the alarm clock and I love the continuous play of internet radio I use Alexa daily

good product, you can use it at home in different rooms

I bought this as a gift for my mother for Christmas and she hooked it to her old 30 pin Bose speaker with an aux cable. Now she uses her speaker again!! It is amazing how quickly you begin to rely on GOOD voice activation. Lots of fun!

Haven't had time to really get the full benefits of the dot but so far so good. I'm only giving 4 stars because of that and also being that I talked a friend into getting one and they had a heck of a time getting it connected. (It ended up being a setting in her phone). Anyway if nothing else its a fun devise just for entertainment.

These devices are fun, but not perfected as yet. - They do not always work (as it is dependent on your internet). - Do not put this device near a television set, as it responds to the dialog during a TV show or the news. (If a television character is asking a question, Alexa will sometimes respond!)

The Amazon Echo Dot has been fun for everyone at home. From streaming music, to checking the weather, and all of the fun skills we have added we have gotten a lot out of Alexa already. Can't wait to link our smart home devices next!

This DOT does just what the DOT is supposed to. I only purchased it to complement my TV & sound bar hoping to add some voice support since none of my remotes have a voice feature. It's my 2nd DOT so obviously I'm with them.

I bought this for my son who is a self proclaimed nerd! He thinks it's very cool. He plays music, asks questions and even asks Alexa to tell jokes! It's in our basement/laundry room so I mess around with it when I'm doing the laundry!!

Alexa is a great addition to any home. I have Spotify and it's nice to just ask Alexa to play requests. Spotify has a HUGE library, so practically any song you ask Alexa to play on Spotify will be found.

This is my first experience with voice assistants and I really like it! I bought the three pack, but I found that two are enough for my house. If there's two Echoes too close to each other they will both turn on with the command.

This was our first experience with a digital assistant. Everything set up quickly and easily. To get our prime membership to function with the device was as easy as changing profiles. Got one for every member of the family.

I have a few components that can be operated by Alexa and having the echo offers great hands free convenience. Also as I’m getting ready for work it is nice to shout out and get the morning news or stream my favorite songs.

We have Many Echo's. I bout this for my parents to use they are enjoying it. Only think that would be better would be if the dot had a slightly better speaker. Even the gen 3 still has the same speaker. If the gen 3 had some better sound I would have bought that for them. All in all a good smart speaker.
