Learning the commands Alexa can do has been fun...

I like this, the Alexa app could be a lot better tho. It is so disjointed and a little confusing to navigate especially when you're trying to set up skills for smart home products. Besides that, Alexa works great. Answers a lot of silly and useful questions, gives updates and interested with almost all of my smart home devices

I got this for my grandaughter's 7th birthday, and she and her friends have a lot of fun with it. The rest of her family enjoys it too!

It is both useful and fun. The set up is fairly easy.

My 2nd dot and i have the regular echo, bought this one for the kitchen, very convenient to have her in the kitchen for lists and weather information, they often go on sale if you see them on sale grab one you can't go wrong!

I have the newer version of Alexa but this one works great in a small room. The speaker isn't quite as good but I use it in the kitchen mostly for a timer and you couldn't beat the holiday pricing specials.

The echo dot is perfect if you want all of the same features as the regular echo but for less of a price. The only thing you are compromising is the sound quality since the speaker is much smaller so if you are planning on using this type of product to play music on a regular basis, I would recommend the regular echo.

Bought it on a lark just to see what it can do. Have had fun asking it questions. Lets me know how far from my home to my destination. Am planning on buying some Hue bulbs and seeing how it works with them.

Great for music and linked apps (skills) such as jokes and inspirational quotes. Got a few outlets so I can control lights and was able to connect to different speakers in different rooms. Only downside I have found is cannot connect multiple speakers at once and it does not search for answers like Google. Otherwise, great product!

Love the echo series of products. The dot Pairs great with my echo to have Alexa capabilities upstairs and downstairs in my home. They are constantly adding new skills and is awesome for someone interested in smart home

I really enjoy using my amazon echo dot. I use pandora and iheartradio all the time! Also I use it to tell me the time at night so I don't have to look into a bright clock. Also the speaker is much louder than I would've expected.

I use it mostly for reminders, alarms, etc. As for information, practice asking questions you want, otherwise she gets confused. She almost freaked me out when she asked if I wanted to have a conversation.

For the $29.99 Christmas price, this is a steal. This one goes in the kitchen. it can set timers, reminders, read recipes, do conversions ("Alexa, how many tablespoons in a cup".), play music, and a million other things.

I love the echo, the only difference is the dot is meant to be hooked up to speakers, better when you use an AUX cord but Bluetooth works good as well. My Bluetooth speakers turn off after a while so no sound will come through lol.
