Good echo dot is smart and fun to use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Works just as good as the echo. All the same voice functions and quality as its counter parts. Gave it 4 stars only because the sound quality for playing music is as good as the tap or echo but you can connect it to a Bluetooth speaker for better quality. Great counter part to the echo and tap or just to have in the bead room.

Love the idea of this and when it works it's great. You need to plug into and unused outlet to start and keep away from anything that will interfere with it like speakers, radios or other electronics. Concept is great and if properly set up to work with other things would be great. But too hit and miss to earn a 5 star rating

Amazon Dot is affordable and has lots of "skills". I sometimes have issues having Alexa hear/respond to me compared to Google Home. I also wish commands for Amazon Dot were more intuitive and conversational, the way Google Home is. However, until Google Home develops their skill sets more, the Amazon Dot will be a better buy.

I dont know what I would do with Alexa! Love this Echo Dot. I ended up getting an Echo too and connected them to my tv soundbar. Works great and music Sounds excellent

This was one of the coolest gadgets I've purchased and I'm still amazed at all it does... from playing songs through voice command to getting local traffic and weather updates. I love it!!!

We purchased this for my 10 year old daughter and it has worked great. We already have Amazon free time so I was able to connect it with that to maintain the parental control settings for my daughter.

I bought this for my parents for Christmas (2016) and they loved it...and so did their friends during dinner parties! Within a month I got one for myself! I use it everyday for weather, news, facts, jokes and music! Love it!

I was skeptical at first, but the Amazon Echo has become a fantastic utility. The ease of set-up and the ease of interactivity quickly positioned this little wonder into a much utilized piece of tech.

Starting to automate my home and Alexa is compatible with most devices and helps with the Hue lighting we also purchased. We also have Amazon TV and Amazon tablets which assist in the conversion.

Haven't worked myself far enough into the Amazon ecosystem to really know what the Dot offers over Google Home. The device won't connect to my home theatre system through blue tooth, which is a bit of a bummer.

I do love my Google Home. However, I do appreciate Alexa for some of the few things that it has over the Google home. For instance, it has Bluetooth capability , and I can also link my Sirius XM account to it, neither of which the Google home supports yet.

It was a perfect gift to give And it actually works.

I bought these last year for gifts and then added yet another for my wife for her kitchen. These are really handy for her shopping lists and to do lists. She's always checking the new things she can do with this.

I bought this for my daughter and she is very happy with it, she uses Alexa for different things like music, alarms, lights, etc, so in 1 device you have the service of different ones. Great purchase

I saw the Echo Dot advertised and thought it would be fun to have one at home. I was able to get it working in about ten minutes. We now are asking Alexa questions all the time. She is good with weather forecasts.

The echo dot is amazing! You don't have to add to it, all you need to do is download the app and you instantly have access to news, weather, songs, games and many other fun things. Alexa also connects to Bluetooth

This is my 3rd device. Have them in different ends of the house. The drop on feature is awesome to reach other areas of the house. These things are great. Go to Best Buy to pick yours up or have it shipped like I did.

The system is great. If you know its purpose then it will fit to your home perfectly. I only wish that all the Amazon. And Echoes would integrate with each other and communicate or even play with each other as far as music is concerned. It also does not have all the answers to your questions as if an "okay Google"would have.
