Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is kinda a difficult item to review as you either like it or you don’t and I love it except for when you first set it up, ALL your contacts are notified that you have this device and there are those few people who just get so paranoid for some reason. That’s the only drawback of this device.

When you have a lot of smart devices connected to your home, Alexa Makes it easy for you to manage it all. You’ll be surprised at how sensitive the speaker is at picking up your voice.

Echo for kids

Only downfall is if you have Amazon Kids and an Amazon tablet, if you put time restrictions on the tablet, it also restricts the Echo. We have not found a workaround yet

Great Buy and Good sound

I can put an alarm, to do lists on a calendar and even purchase foods if linked to a card.
