We love our Alexa...Amazon Echo Dot. The granddaughters are enthralled with her. Makes creating shopping lists a breeze, turns our lights on and off for us, tells us the weather, and tells the grandgirls jokes.

We have these all over the house and they are nice to have for various reasons. We use a lot of smart switches, t.v.'s, lights, etc... and this makes it easy to turn things on and off as well as communicate from one floor level to another.

Works Great! Love the convenience of having this connected to other smart devices.

Fun little device. Has great sound quality and the volume gets pretty high. My son uses it mostly as a Bluetooth speaker.

I'm "old school" and would not have purchased this by itself. It came with a TV I purchased. It's fun to play with and I'm trying to determine it's usefulness in my "un-smart" house.

I got this devices free with a purchase of another device at Best buy Black Friday deal. Since my first device I have now about 4 of these in my place of residence . Once you learn how they connect to other smart home devices you will feel like the Jetsons.

This is my first echo-dot and so far I'm really pleased with it. It took me sometime to figure out that you had to incorporate alexa skill for it to work with some of your smart devices but once I did that the majority of them work well. There are a few skills that need upgrading (don't work well) but over all I wondered why I didn't do this sooner. The dot is a great purchase if you're into smart home devices and digital assistants.

I am a google home, home but this came free with a purchase and I have to admit, Alexa is way more entertaining and personable than google home. I dont use it much but it sits on my desk when I need random questions answered or a joke

Was looking for a good simple alarm clock and discovered these Echodots. They are an amazing alarm clock plus so much more. I'm doing the home automation using these. I now have 4 of them and am adding new things almost every week.

Only wanted to have this to play music. But Alexa is always talking asking if you want to switch to the plan to play unlimited music. After awhile it becomes annoying. Will either break down and subscribe, or get a new speaker.

If you do not have an echo yet, run quick and get one!! It makes life easier. No longer do you have to wonder who sang that song, who said that quote or if you ordered coffee. Alexa has your back!!! No, she is not spying on you! She has better things to do!!

The only reason why I bought an Alexa was to not get up to turn off the light at night when I'm all tucked in. I know it sounds silly but you know those times when you're so comfortable in bed binge watching Netflix and just really don't want to get up to turn off the light... well this is your solution! Love it! AND it also plays relaxing sounds to help you sleep and you can set a timer for it and also an alarm there's endless things Alexa will do for you. She even raps and barks like a dog to make my baby nephew giggle. Highly recommend!
