This is my fourth Echo Dot. Have them in my bedrooms and mostly use them to stream music. Great sound and they are attractive looking units.

Nice addition to our home. its nice to have some of the more common questions answered hands free.

The only reason why I bought an Alexa was to not get up to turn off the light at night when I'm all tucked in. I know it sounds silly but you know those times when you're so comfortable in bed binge watching Netflix and just really don't want to get up to turn off the light... well this is your solution! Love it! AND it also plays relaxing sounds to help you sleep and you can set a timer for it and also an alarm there's endless things Alexa will do for you. She even raps and barks like a dog to make my baby nephew giggle. Highly recommend!

The design was better than I thought and felt more modern than expected.

it was a freebie with my purchase of a t.v. my house is already set up with google. but alexa has some nice differences. more sleep sounds that google.

I got this devices free with a purchase of another device at Best buy Black Friday deal. Since my first device I have now about 4 of these in my place of residence . Once you learn how they connect to other smart home devices you will feel like the Jetsons.

The Echo Dot is a fun addition to your techie items, it is capable of doing a great many things like the larger echo devices including playing a song for you, setting an alarm, or just giving you tomorrow’s weather report. Best Buy had the Dot on sale when I picked this up, I already had a larger Echo and one Dot but another Dot for another room or for the cabin up north? I couldn’t pass it up at the sale price.. they are easy to set up with the Alexa app on your phone or iPad it walks you through it.

This is my first echo-dot and so far I'm really pleased with it. It took me sometime to figure out that you had to incorporate alexa skill for it to work with some of your smart devices but once I did that the majority of them work well. There are a few skills that need upgrading (don't work well) but over all I wondered why I didn't do this sooner. The dot is a great purchase if you're into smart home devices and digital assistants.

I was leary of these for fear of being listened to, I know big joke right. Our cell phones already gather information for targeted marketing so i got this. The echo dot is great. You can use it for just about anything. Set timers, reminders, send messages and make calls. It will even place orders on Amazon. We have 2 now and i got one for my mom as well.

Works well. Easy to use. Useful depending on what you're gonna use it for.

Alexa does everything from turning on the Christmas tree to controlling the thermostat in the house.
