Great way to listen to music in any room of the house. Pretty good sound as well. Sometimes you can't get Alexa to wake up on first try. But suspect it's something we're doing wrong. Husband's worries if we don't unplug her, she listens in on us.

I am disabled and have mobility issues. I refused to try Alexa because I was worried it would be an intrusion of my privacy. Well, I bought my first Echo Dot a week and a half ago. It has been so empowering for me to not struggle over to turn on lights. It also allows me to turn lights on or off from bed. Now I have 8 echo dots all around the hose. I couldn’t have had better timing. Black Friday deals meant this either came with an outlet included or just $22 for each additional dot. This has been incredibly helpful to keep me independent and safe.

It wakes me up, starts my day with traffic weather and news updates. Turns my tv on off channels etc. lights and dimmers too. Can’t beat it for the money!

I have a generation 2 echo dot. This one is way better! It’s amazing! It gets really loud and still small. We have three all different colors now

Great sound, very intuitive and easy to use in rooms

Nice purchase! I wasnt sure what to expect but it has been quite useful so far. Even though we have an open floor plan, we placed in our kitchen which has the most traffic in our house. Certainly has already helped with keeping up with grocery needs and making things more efficient with us being to add to the list on the fly. it was really easy to set up to connect with our printer via wifi. I am sure we will continue to find more uses.

I have it in our bedroom and like the size if it. Good quality sound and I use it to wake me up in the morning. It's an amazing companion to have around.

The latest generation of the series...as with previous models, it was very easy to set up. The sound quality has improved from the first generation.

I have several Echo Dots & I totally love them. I have one connected to my whole house sound system & then a few scattered around the house. When I had surgery last year, I set them up so I could contact my partner when I needed assistance. I now have added Echo Shows & the sound system is great. I can listen to Satellite Radio so it is wonderful. I have a love/hate relationship with Alexa & she probably spies on me. Setting multiple speakers up can be a challenge so Amazon should try to improve this.

Alexa is a great help! Being able to set alarms, reminders and timers. You name it an it’ll be able to get it done. Definitely great for music in the kitchen.

Easy to setup and configured. Answers right away when say "Hey Alexa". The compact size is great and can put anywhere!!

I love this echo as it was connected with my doorbell, announce the motions in the front door and also play the songs/read the news for me...

great alexa for the bedroom. very good sound quality and does not take up so much space.

I already have 2 of these, and they are great . So I thought if I loved them so much, then I am sure that the family will love them. So I purchased 2 more to give as Christmas gift. I give this prouduct 5 stars. It plays my favorite music, it tells me jokes, it even turns your light on and off. And also changes the colors , only if you have a smart bulb. I you don't have one you should rush out and buy one. Can't go wrong with this product.

Love this product. Easy to use and very useful in my room. Would definitely recommend. Sound is good for the size of the product.

The Dot has great sound for its size. Being able to place it anywhere is a big advantage.
