good sound for bedroom alarm use. Easy to set with voice commands

I am disabled and have mobility issues. I refused to try Alexa because I was worried it would be an intrusion of my privacy. Well, I bought my first Echo Dot a week and a half ago. It has been so empowering for me to not struggle over to turn on lights. It also allows me to turn lights on or off from bed. Now I have 8 echo dots all around the hose. I couldn’t have had better timing. Black Friday deals meant this either came with an outlet included or just $22 for each additional dot. This has been incredibly helpful to keep me independent and safe.

Love this product. Easy to use and very useful in my room. Would definitely recommend. Sound is good for the size of the product.

I got this for Christmas more as a speaker for music. But there are things that I asked of Alexa that I didn't think she could actually do. Without reading a huge book of what you can do with it, you can just try asking her to do things and mostly she can. You can have her call people, set a timer for that pizza in the oven, even play music, but turn off after a period of time. I'm still learning the capabilities of three echo Dot. As for sound quality (cause I know that's what everyone wants to know) I will say it's pretty good, but at the same time, I have nothing to compare it to.

I had a generation 1 Alexa and this version is by far superior in size, design and speakers. Its so loud I sometimes forget its not connected to my surrounded sound system. The only negative I have is when I have the sink running or kitchen vent going she doesn't fully understand me.

It wakes me up, starts my day with traffic weather and news updates. Turns my tv on off channels etc. lights and dimmers too. Can’t beat it for the money!

I have a generation 2 echo dot. This one is way better! It’s amazing! It gets really loud and still small. We have three all different colors now

I love this echo as it was connected with my doorbell, announce the motions in the front door and also play the songs/read the news for me...

This is the 2nd Echo we have in our home. Easy to use, setup and like the interactive features.

It may be small, but it is loud! The only thing I didn't like was that I had to download an app to make it work (phone didn't have much space.) All in all, it did the job!

this is a great product. I have one in every room. Easy to set up and when linked together you get surround sound throughout your home.

The latest generation of the series...as with previous models, it was very easy to set up. The sound quality has improved from the first generation.

I own over a half dozen Echo's. This third gen Dot has about as good a sound as the first gen full size Echo. While lacking in bass, it makes up with ease of use and size. I have four of my Echo's set up in the multiroom audio, which makes it nice to listen to music throughout the house. Catch this on sale and it's a great deal.

Added these new Echos to my home to expand Alexa's abilities for smart home controls to every room! New upgraded speakers sound great and super easy to setup.

I have it in our bedroom and like the size if it. Good quality sound and I use it to wake me up in the morning. It's an amazing companion to have around.

Great speaker. I bought this for a Christmas gift for my brother. He loves that he just request a song and it plays.. Very easy to use.

You can't have too many Echo Dots. They have such great sound for such a little package. Easy to set up and use. A great value!

Christmas gift and receiver was excited. They use these around the house to talk to Alexa. Worked great and easy to setup.

Alexa is a great help! Being able to set alarms, reminders and timers. You name it an it’ll be able to get it done. Definitely great for music in the kitchen.

Excellent sound, easy set up, same fairly pleasant voice. We enjoy trying to confuse it on a daily basis.....
