The echo dot was a prize for buying a smart tv. Nice to get something like that.

Alexa is perfect for helping to answer those useless facts your kids feel the need to know. The streaming music also works great for helping to keep the new puppy quieter overnight.

The Echo Dot works fine. No problems. Glad I was able to find it at Best Buy on sale. Other stores I went to were out of stock

Instantly hooked. After buying this one, I had to buy 4 more for the rest of my home. When you hook up the echo to smart plugs, you can easily set different skills to turn on appliances in your home.

We purchased this 3rd gen Alexa because, tho reluctant at first, we are now confirmed Alexa users all over the house. We use it for news, weather, information, grocery lists, timers, recipe reader, converting different measures, to sing Happy Birthday and control lights and of course music, etc. It’s so easy to use & although initially reluctant adapters —now we have fully embraced this technology. Could we get along without it—yes, but consider how useful it is—especially the assistance with lights if a person is recovering from surgery.

I don't know why I didn't get one a long time ago.. I practically use it every other day when I'm cooking and cleaning... I love it!!...I actually had my mom go get one and she loves it too as well!!!?

I love the new look and the sound is fantastic, as a solo speaker or paired with another. Here’s the bonus. Amazon has finally fixed their search feature with regards to finding your favorite radio stations via TuneIn, etc. In many cases, you have to go in search of skills. And then you had to use and remember an exact phrase to get to it. I highlight radio stations because that’s what I use it for, but this goes for many other things as well. So Amazon’s smart speakers are getting better.

Easy to setup. Hard to figure out what it can all do.

I bought this device as a Christmas gift for someone else. I don't use Alexa for anything but the person I bought this for loves it because it works with more devices than Google assistant devices so there's a bonus.

This works great. I've had it for more than a year and it works like new.

Improved sound is good enough for music and speech. Small enough to hide in the room. I enjoy having the same background music in different rooms.
