3rd generation is much improved!

Alexa, Alexa, Alexa!!

My issue with Alexa is when I have the volume to about max while playing music or listening to my daily briefing on the Dot, Alexa can't seem to hear me. I literally would have scream Alexa multiple times in order to get a respond. Mind you. I'm less than 5ft away.

Yup, its the Dot

The best use for the Dot however is to allow non-Echo devices to become Alexa compatible so that you can incorporate them into your smart home environment. No complaints!

Solid PA and nice audio quality

After much research, I was convinced alexa was a better assistant than the google mini for their varied skills. I have not repented the decision and I am loving this :)
