Alexa does all of the things everyone knows such as play songs, answer questions, spell words, etc. Alexa does so much more! I am more organized with reminders, lists, etc. Everyone should have Alexa!

It is not the latest version of the echo dot, but it works fine and the sound is better than the earlier version. Set up was easy.

I love using this device. It might seem like overkill or unnecessary to some,but I like having Alexa as my personal assistant. She saves me so much time and does so much to make my life easier.

I use my Echo Dot for the weather, basic questions and a whole lot of trivia questions. I also use it for local radio stations. I like it so much, that I purchased one for my sister.

I really like my Alexa but I am a bit disappointed that to a lot of my questions to Alexa her response is always “hmmm I’m not quite sure” or “I don’t know about that” I thought she would be like Siri or something who could have an answer to every question or at least search for the answer online but it seems like she doesn’t really know much at all

I have several of these in the house, which is why I got one for my office white elephant. They went crazy!

I love being able to control my music hands free while I’m cleaning. I haven’t tried all the capabilities out yet. Be careful or she will put stuff in your amazon shopping cart that she hears you mention, lol!

if u thought the first generation was good,,,this is so much better!

This is fantastic. My first Alexa device and I got it free when I purchase a TV....I also got free Apple music so I am have a great time listening to music I haven't heard in a long time.

I found that this Amazon Echo Dot sounds good and usually responds well to simple questions, such as "What is the weather?" However, it cannot answer many questions. This is also an issue with Apple's Siri, so it's not perfect, but does the job. I also have had intermittent issues with it playing songs that I purchased through Amazon. It wants you to buy an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription. That should not be the case for music that was purchased through Amazon. I may have to contact Amazon for that issue. One nice thing is that it can be used as a wireless bluetooth speaker. I have used it several times for that. I did receive this with an Insignia FireTV that I purchased, so it was a good deal!
