This dot sounds better and looks nicer than 1st generation

Love it! Small enough to put in the bedrooms so that everything is connected. Good sound quality. Easy to set up.

This Echo dot 3rd gen. is not as good and effective as the 2nd gen. You have to speak and shout several times before it responds and even when it does it is always 'I don't know what you're talking about'. The only good thing in it is the bass. Overall, the 2nd gen beats it hands down.

The Dot is great and convenient for playing music and checking weather. However, it sometimes does not work for no apparent reason. My internet connection can be great and it still skips songs and sometimes the alarm doesn’t go off. It’s just okay and again it was free so I’ll take it.

It's a great, fun, helpful item to have around the house. Easy to use, sounds good hooked up to a sound system.

We're mostly a Google assistant home, but I needed something with an audio-out jack. So far, everything is great.

Love having a smart device in my home. This one came free with the ring alarm system I bought so it was a plus. You can easily ask Alexa to do smart things in your home.

These are great little devices. If you get several, you can place them throughout your house and use then as an intercom. Our family loves them!

I didn’t plan on getting the Echo Dot for myself but when they had the special over the holidays, I decided to treat myself. Thanks for the special because I would have totally missed out... I love it!!

We at home loves what the Dot does, the news, weather, time, music, time, controllerblities of some of our gadgets, Tv, bluetooth speakers, dish network it changes channels or can turn of or on the Dish network box. It's very versatile and we all are amazed at it, & there is still much more to discover plus it speaker sounds great for such a little thing. I would highly recommend it to everyone so everyone can be a little smarter smarter at home
