We have 7 of these now plus an echo show. They are small enough that they can be placed just about anywhere. The colors fit well with our décor. We can play music in every room of our house. My wife and I can use them like an intercom to talk to each other from different areas of our home. I can play my music on one speaker and my wife can play her music on another. We can ask Alexa questions and get answers, we even have smart devices that we use them to control. Most of the time the system works well, but there have been glitches either within the Alexa app or the speaker itself that causes them to link up when using the intercom feature and they have to be reset periodically. Hopefully Amazon will get these and other glitches within the app cleared up, but until then I will give it 4 stars.

I really like the features of the Echo Dot. Sounds great. i like that i can have multiple units palying the same station at one time.

Amazon echo always amazes me. Great looking and very functional. Echo hears me better than the older model with all the other functions

It may be small, but it is loud! The only thing I didn't like was that I had to download an app to make it work (phone didn't have much space.) All in all, it did the job!

Bought this for listening to music on porch. It is plenty loud and the sound quality is great for the price in my opinion.

We have a larger version in our family room but I wanted something for my craft room. This was perfect. Affordable and great sound.

I love this. My husband is legally blind and this is so handy for him. Instead of looking things up on the Internet and struggling to get questions answered he just ask Alexia and has his answer in seconds. It's been a game changer. Very easy to use and would recommend for all seniors, a very reliable technology and a simple plug into outlet and it's basically all set up for you.

Easy to use, excellent sound. My kids love how easy it is to use for music, to set timers.

Although small, these little guys pack all the knowledge and information that the larger units have. They don't sound that bad either.

This Product offers decent sound and richer bass, compared to my much cheaper Bluetooth speaker, the Boat Stone 260. It works seamlessly with my smart home devices, and the app is fantastic. The app works great, and you can control your smart home or this dot from anywhere in the world, as long both of your devices have an internet connection. It's a fun little party trick, really. I couldn't be more happier with my echo dot.

Easy is the word for this review. Best Buy pickup was easy, in spite of the Mrs. being marked as the "pickup" person for the purchase; BB was able to fix that and we were off! The install as usual was easy too! This was Amazon Echo 4 & 5 for our home and we're really enjoying them all over the house. A little dodgy internet access in the kitchen for some reason that seems to be requiring a daily reboot of that unit but all-in-all a great way to listen to NPR, podcasts, the weather & a quick traffic update for the morning commute!

gotta love having alexa around. the speaker is good & it has smooth look/surface. better than the previous generation.

Amazon added better speaker and easier setup on this 3rd generation echo which makes it even more user friendly. Worth the additional price point.

It was very simple to set up and connect to all my amazon alexa products. Great for outdoor use and the speaker is very loud.

I love using my new Echo Dot! Sound is good and doesn't take up a lot of space.
