The Echo Dot is small, portable, and easy to use. The Alexa software is smart and responds quickly. Easy to add items that work with it via the app.

First of all it is easy to set up. Plug it in, go to the Alexa app and follow a couple of instructions. It has excellent sound for such a small package.

I had 2 Of the 2nd Gen Dots and they have been great! The 3rd Gen sounds even better than the 2nd and have a much softer look with the fabric sides.

This is our 5th echo. We love having them for music, talking to each other in different rooms, alarms, reminders, etc.

We wanted basic functionality for a blind person in a senior center. We connected the device and it gave her all of the functionality she needed to listen to music and check her email messages. Great product at a great price.

Quality sound and easy to set up easy to connect to all other Alexa devices

It's been a new experience for me as I have not used this before. It is easy to setup and integrates easily with the Ring Doorbell and my mobile phone.

I really like it its small but loud perfect for a bedroom or small office .

We have 7 of these now plus an echo show. They are small enough that they can be placed just about anywhere. The colors fit well with our décor. We can play music in every room of our house. My wife and I can use them like an intercom to talk to each other from different areas of our home. I can play my music on one speaker and my wife can play her music on another. We can ask Alexa questions and get answers, we even have smart devices that we use them to control. Most of the time the system works well, but there have been glitches either within the Alexa app or the speaker itself that causes them to link up when using the intercom feature and they have to be reset periodically. Hopefully Amazon will get these and other glitches within the app cleared up, but until then I will give it 4 stars.

It is great. Works and sounds better than the original Dot, plus made me desire and get the next model Echo Show (2nd Gen) for more fun and solutions.

This is my 3rd Echo Dot and I love them. Very useful for playing music around the house and answering questions without having to grab my phone.

I love this. My husband is legally blind and this is so handy for him. Instead of looking things up on the Internet and struggling to get questions answered he just ask Alexia and has his answer in seconds. It's been a game changer. Very easy to use and would recommend for all seniors, a very reliable technology and a simple plug into outlet and it's basically all set up for you.

Easy to set up with decent sound quality. small size makes it easy to have on a nightstand.

Bought this for listening to music on porch. It is plenty loud and the sound quality is great for the price in my opinion.
