I've had the first generation dots. You can hear a difference. The speakers are great the clarity is awesome too. I love the new look too

I like this little device and so do my grand kids. It's easy to use and set up. Very handy to have around for playing music and answering questions.

We have 7 of these now plus an echo show. They are small enough that they can be placed just about anywhere. The colors fit well with our décor. We can play music in every room of our house. My wife and I can use them like an intercom to talk to each other from different areas of our home. I can play my music on one speaker and my wife can play her music on another. We can ask Alexa questions and get answers, we even have smart devices that we use them to control. Most of the time the system works well, but there have been glitches either within the Alexa app or the speaker itself that causes them to link up when using the intercom feature and they have to be reset periodically. Hopefully Amazon will get these and other glitches within the app cleared up, but until then I will give it 4 stars.

I love the dots. This is definitely a better version than previous generation. Seems more loud and responsive. I also like the look better too. Love it!

I've got 4 of the 2nd Gen Echo Dots in my house, and this one blows them away. I bought two of these because of another review I watched that showed much better sound on these. It's true, these sound MUCH better than the previous generation... almost as good as the current Echo. I use one of the new ones in the garage, where I spend a lot of my time at home, and listening to Amazon Music is fantastic because I don't have to connect it to an external speaker as I did with the 2nd Gen. Setup was a breeze and it was working within a minute of plugging it in.

I love this. My husband is legally blind and this is so handy for him. Instead of looking things up on the Internet and struggling to get questions answered he just ask Alexia and has his answer in seconds. It's been a game changer. Very easy to use and would recommend for all seniors, a very reliable technology and a simple plug into outlet and it's basically all set up for you.

Got the new Amazon Dot with a bundle deal and impressed at the sound quality. I have the older Dot and this one is a nice improvement. Easy setup too!

The Echo Dot is small, portable, and easy to use. The Alexa software is smart and responds quickly. Easy to add items that work with it via the app.

I had 2 Of the 2nd Gen Dots and they have been great! The 3rd Gen sounds even better than the 2nd and have a much softer look with the fabric sides.

We already had an older echo button and this came with the ring doorbell package I ordered for Christmas. It’s much louder and better quality than my first one. We love it and the kids love it for dance night because they can ask Alexa for whatever song they want to dance too!

I love my Alexa. I often use it to check the weather, set alarms, and play music while I study. Set up was super easy

First of all it is easy to set up. Plug it in, go to the Alexa app and follow a couple of instructions. It has excellent sound for such a small package.

Bought this for listening to music on porch. It is plenty loud and the sound quality is great for the price in my opinion.
