I'm using it as a chime for my Ring

Got it as a free gift when I purchased the Ring so I did not have to purchase a chime. I keep the microphone off as I do not want it listening all the time and the on/off button makes it easy to use if I do need it to look/as for something online.

I would like to compare it to the Google home before making a purchase.

Now she say Alexa call... Alexa play .... song. It’s great she loves it and it is easy for her to use.

Makes Life Easier
