It's a lot of fun to use and not difficult to set up.

The Echo Dot is a new addition to the household. Hehe. After setup and installation, it can pretty much answer and understand your questions. Best part is listening to iHeart Music Radio (commercial free), and if you have Amazon Prime membership, you can listen from Amazon Music Stations, and have Alexa read you a book. Pretty cool!

Works great easy set up good price use it in a bed room to turn on lights

I've bought may Amazon products and have probably 8 Echos. They are small and yet mighty. They may be listening when they are not suppose to be, but I don't know that for a fact. The sound is very good in general and excellent for a speaker so small. The reception for voice is excellent. It keeps learning and getting better. If you are paranoid about privacy, don't get it or anything like it.

I purchased this for my niece who is 4 years old. She kids bop Alexa all day long. She is an only child so, this is perfect entertainment for her during the quarantine.

Amazon echo was essential. Me and the wife are phasing into automated everything. Next up is the Amazon echo show. I love this thing along side its bigger brothers and sisters

Family adores the one we have and now another one to add to the family!! We broadcast between the two, set reminders (great for when I’m baking), and kids enjoy the jokes and interactions!!

Love this! But be careful because I got charged $15 for Amazon Unlimited Music subscription. I guess you turn off voice purchases through Alexa app.

The audio on the Amazon echo dot is excellent! It's much louder than I expected it to be for the size!

Love my echo, it’s the perfect size, easy to hide, but does everything I wanted it to do! The connection between my phone is very cool, and I can’t wait to buy accessories to turn my house into a “smart home”!

Gifted this on Christmas to my grandparents and they love it. Sound quality is ok, but it does everything a voice assistant should do.

third one i use works very similar to the older version

Its a nice device. Integrates well with my other smart devices (sengled bulbs, WiFi Plugs etc.) The only annoying part its notifications, you can't surprise your family members with amazon shipment as echo will have a "notification on" by default (you can and should turn of notifications though).
