    My son wanted an Echo Dot and I now know why. It is smart and will answer almost any question. It will tell you conversion values and is a great cheat at trivia questions. It is just plain fun!

    I really enjoy having this device in the house. I can answer my Ring doorbell from it, turn my TV on and off, set reminders and alarms and play music from my streaming service. I have several around the house so when dinner is ready, it makes an announcement all over the house.

    I've bought may Amazon products and have probably 8 Echos. They are small and yet mighty. They may be listening when they are not suppose to be, but I don't know that for a fact. The sound is very good in general and excellent for a speaker so small. The reception for voice is excellent. It keeps learning and getting better. If you are paranoid about privacy, don't get it or anything like it.
