This was a purchase that I thought I wouldn't use that much. I was wrong. I set it up on the desk where I work and it has helped on many occasions.

Excellent sound and it was easy to set up. I liked it so much I purchased one for each room.

I own 11 amazon smart devices all work great. I am 69 yrs old and am preparing for the day when I cant get around like I do now. Amazon Alexa is and will be a big help

Overall, this is a really cool device. I initially purchased one and set it up just outside the kitchen in the family room, which we call the music room because it's the room where we have the piano. I connected it to my Sony receiver via the 3.5mm jack to RCA,(Red and White plugs). I would recommend this setup as the Echo Dot speaker is good for small rooms, but doesn't have much power to project across rooms. Fun, useful device! I purchased one more for the living room and created a speaker group called Everywhere. This gives you the ability to play the same music in different rooms. Understand that if you setup a speaker group, it won't work with the Echo Dot if it's connected to a Bluetooth device or speakers.

Bought this 3rd gen Dot after owning a 1st Gen dot for several years and it was a great addition to our lineup. Great for streaming music, listening to news and automated tasks.

Wanted a Dot in bedroom. Have one in Living room. Both work together and helps me control lights from anywhere in house now.

Having only one light switch in the room hooking it up with the lightbulbs has given me the light that I need in each corner

We mostly use it for music. My kids are obsessed. ♡ easy to learn, no installation and a great price!

I'm loving my Echo Dot...it's just what I need and does everything I ask it to do and even more. Wish I would have gotten it sooner.

I actually bought 2 of these. Very happy I updated my smart speaker from what I had to Amazon's Alexa. Has a lot more capabilities compared to my prior smart speaker. Glad I changed.

This product is very helpful it gives you the time of day what the temperature is you can even have it look up a recipe for you .. My husband bought lightbulbs that Alexa can turn on
