I love the new generation echo dot. It is much louder and has a sleek, upgraded look. It seems to respond fast as well. Overall great product.

Even though this is the small version, it works great. I mainly use it for music and haven’t programmed it to connect to other electronics yet

The Dot can be used for many things. I turn on my lights and off with Alexa. Get great music too. Weather every morning with flash briefing .

I love the Echo Dot (3rd Gen). It is an upgrade from my older version which I used mainly for an alarm clock, the weather and trivia. Right off, the sound quality is better. I haven't tried all the options, but plan to have fun exploring the additional features that come with this model. An added plus is the irresistible price.

We love our Echo Dot. I have purchased several different ones throughout the years. We use ours to play music on Amazon Music, tell us the weather, play bedtime stories, and so much more! We have gone all in with the "Alexa" network of devices. I believe it makes everything a little easier to use when you have the same ecosystem to use. If you decide you want a Smart speaker, choose between Apple, Google, or Amazon and use that for all of your devices. I know you can't go wrong with Amazon's Echo Dot!

I love it. It is easy to use. Sometimes has difficulty understanding what I say, but so do my kids. I use it while I'm cooking. Much easier to play music than hunting around for a CD or a radio station. I use it for updates for my kids' school. I wish it had a chargeable battery, so I could take it more places.

This is the best one for the money. Clear sound. Small, I use it in the bathroom to listen to the news or music.

This is a very nice speaker. I don't use it for much other than to play music and to give some smart home commands, although it has a few more abilities than that. Maybe I'll use it for more someday.

Easy to set up and use. I’ve placed a few around the house and they are a huge help. I primarily use them for lights and to play music.

Great assistant. There are many skills to use with this. We have several throughout the house to communicate.

Use in the upstairs BR. Easy setup and linking to the Echo Show was a breeze. Good sound quality for a speaker this small.
