Alexa! Alexa! Alexa! I absolutely enjoy the hands free Alexa speaker.

Love the Amazon echo dots. This is my third one and it works the same as the others.

I was an Alexa virgin cuz I didn’t think I needed her .... boy was I wrong! Now I couldn’t live without her even tho I find very little help available ANYWHERE regarding answering very basic questions that Alexa virgins might need answering. Bottom line, I couldn’t be happier that I finally brought Alexa into my home. She really helps me in so many ways.

While this product looks great in any room, it does not compare to previous generations of the Echo Dot. While style is important to complement any room, the 3rd Gen audio is inferior to older models. Most notably the audio is muffled at times, especially when there is more bass in some audios. Additionally, it is more pronounced if you have a holder that mounts the 3rd Gen on on an electrical outlet. Also, when using such a mount the Echo Dot 3rd Gen is directional, and sometimes you need to be in close proximity . If style is your concern, then go for it, but audio, I would think twice.

Wasn't looking to purchase this but it came free with my tv purchase. It was easy to set up and is fun to use and is helpful now that I have it. I asked Alexa if she knows Hal 900 and she said "We don't really talk after what happened." :-)

Drop in function is an amazing feature that I use as this helps me to communicate to my family when I’m away from home. A value buy at this range.

To start I have both Echo and Google and there is not that much difference but for me Echo/Alex skills connections are superior. Maybe because it has been on the market longer so there are more products that I can add to Alexa slowly building my network of voice operated gadgets in my home.

I could not believe the sound it gives. Small enough to place anywhere.
