Great smart speaker

While I don't use it all the time, it's nice to be able to ask Alexa about the weather or play music. You can also connect Echo Dot to your smart devices which is really nice! I compared this to Echo Dot (2nd Gen) - HUGE difference in sound quality. Go 3rd generation and purchase whenever there's a sale on them!

Echo dot is excellent

I bought the echo dot during the Black Friday madness just because it was on sale for cheap. GLAD I DID!!! Sorry Siri, but Alexa beats you! (Don’t get me wrong, apple in general still wins, but as far as Siri vs Alexa on the echo dot goes? It’s obvious that Siri needs an upgrade!

Much better than the previous gen

Same with my google mini. The speaker on this is far superior than the past. A little more bass helps a lot. The interface hasn't changed much. It still has a little hard time picking up my voice but I have a lot background noise. Overall a great improvement.
