The echo dot is easy to use & loud! I don’t like app to use but with Alexa I just speak & tell her what to do.

The sound quality of the Generation 3 Echo Dot is much better that generation 2. The echo dot is easy to configure and easy to use.

I've been resisting the purchase of a smart speaker for a long time, thinking I wouldn't need anything like this. I got this as part of a bundle that I bought for myself for Christmas, and surprisingly I really like it. For a small speaker, the sound is really good, and I like the voice activation features. I can ask Alexa things that I would normally look up myself (weather, sports scores, traffic) and it's great to just be able to speak a question and get the information while not having to stop to look for it.

When i would see the speaker it would remind me to start my day off with more intentionally. I thought I'd not use it because i already have access to most the things i use with the smart speaker, but it's so much easier to just ask for certain things like news and traffic and immediately get it while getting ready.

This is a nice compact unit that suits my uses well. It was easy to set up and use.

The Echo Dot is a must! Initially I wasn't really sure what to expect from this little device, but since purchasing it, it has been nothing more than a pleasant surprise. From getting instant weather reports every morning at wakeup, to evening reminders, to hands free calling to security, and endless more features, I'm absolutely spoiled and can't imagine going without. I haven't had any technical issues with the device and it's been very easy to use in general. Definitely recommend.

I purchased the Echo Dot hoping it would allow me to hear my cell phone ring when I’m in my basement and have left the phone upstairs. That didn’t work out but it has other useful features. It still makes calls, plays music or gives me the news and with a smart bulb it lights up my laundry room. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.
