Love this Alexa as it’s tiny, portable, loud and convenient! Def need to get your Hands on one

Love it! Simple setup and easy to use for anyone. Great size to put just about anywhere in my home.

Nice and small and compact. The 3rd Gen looks better, works better, and, most importantly, sounds much better than the prior model.

Useful and it seems to do all the same exact things the newer 4th gen models do. Docked 1 star only because the speaker quality is not as good as the 4th gen models which makes it not as good for playing music. If this is important to you, go for the 4th gen model. It is a little cheaper than the 4th gen model, so you get what you pay for on the speaker quality. If you don’t listen to music on your smart speakers, then this is a non-issue and it can save you a couple bucks. I only got this model because it was bundled on a promo deal with an Insignia TV I bought. I already had several of the 4th gen models to compare with.

This is perfect for both my teens. Play music, set alarms, it controls their lights. Great product for a great price!

While the concept behind the 3rd gen echo is the same as the first simple improvements of the speakers and design make it worth it.

LOVE the echo dot. It is small and picks up my voice commands easily. the audio output is decent too!

1st alexa product I've purchased. It's small but has a good speaker. Clear sound and easy to work with it...easy set up.

At the request of a nursing home activity director, I purchased four Amazon - Echo Dot (3rd gen) devices as gifts for some nursing home residents. It's a great device to provide residents with many listening options. Aside from connecting the device to WiFi the voice activated use is simple and easy. If my budget would have allowed it then I would have purchased more than 4 devices.

I was always leery about getting one of these but I love it. It is so nice to be able to control devices from across the room. It is also pretty cool that you can ask questions or ask to play songs or even get a weather report. I would recommend this to anyone. Also got a Ring doorbell and the fact that they work together is great. Was also impressed that I could talk to Alexa remotely and control devices in my home and order items from Amazon.

The sound is louder on this device and the quality is much better. I like the look of the device with the cloth covering as well.

Speakers and look of the device have definitely been upgraded. I even have 2 to synch and play music throughout my house.

Purchased on Black Friday to add to our smart home collection. Easy to set up...had pre existing accounts, etc. Love the convenience of using Alexa for various tasks, music and ESPECIALLY my audio books. Will keep adding each year.

Alexa can come in handy with notification, playing music, letting you know when packages are close or when they arrive.

I already had an Echo so I am familiar with them and their capabilities. This one was included free along with the purchase of a smart TV I made. I wouldn't have gone out and purchased a Dot for myself but since Best Buy gave it to me, who am I to turn it down? I put it in my bedroom and now have one on my main living floor and on the upper floor where the bedrooms are, so I can use this one without having the volume turned up to ridiculous levels on the one downstairs.

Excellent smart home controls, the sounds quality is decent for the size. I wish it had a longer usb.
