This is the little echo and I love it. Sounds as good as my bigger echo model and is less obtrusive on the counter.

I have five of these in the house, I never thought I would have one! I got this for my mother because she would never turn the light on in the middle of the night if she had to get around because the switch was out of the way, I feared she could trip on something and get hurt (she is 76). At first she thought it was such an odd thing, but now she asks Alexa for news, weather, the time, and she turns the lights on with her voice! I am so glad I was able to help her in this way, I have much less worry now!

Love this item. Use it way more then I thought I would of. Love using to play music. Also love that I was able to sync to my Roomba

Great Patio radio. I use it poolside and it carries more than enough music for a backyard gathering.

Much better sound than previous versions. Also set up is simple. Got it on sale for $22. That’s an amazing price point.

These echo dots are pretty amazing little speakers. I was surprised at the rich, quality sound. I think I even like it better than some of the more expensive models I have. And they are less obtrusive. This one sits on a shelf where you'd barely notice it. This one is a win for me!

I purchased the Echo Dot (Third Generation) in the charcoal color for use on my master bedroom nightstand. It is the perfect addition for a quick command about setting my alarm, playing some relaxing tunes via my Pandora and Spotify accounts, or asking the time and weather while I prepare for my day. Again, per my review of the Echo Dot (Fourth Generation), the clarity and volume of these devices are awesome!

Works great for music. The speaker is very good. Its fun to use for trivia, weather, sports scores, news. Easy to use

These do the job for me, mostly because I use it as only marginally more than a voice-activated music player. Is Amazon listening to my conversations? Probably, but I'm pretty boring anyway. The speaker itself is acceptable for the small size, and is easy to hide. I wouldn't say there's anything outstanding, but for a product you can regularly find for $25 or less, what do you expect?

Fun little gadget with a lot of things to explore. Has great sound that is clear and loud, especially for its size.
