I didn't know how easy it would be to set up this device. I was wondering what it would do. I bought a light bulb and now - I don't have to get out of bed to turn the light off. Sometimes, I do believe Alexa is hard of hearing me. Still - I am enjoying talking with Alexa

I received this device free with a TV purchase. Nice freebie. Note this is the 3rd gen not the 4th gen with the dome shape. But even with that you are not missing much functionality, sound quality is the same, this model has a more compact design, you have the same Alexa features available to you on the 4th generation

Works great and super easy to set up. I have 2 Echo show 5s and needed something for my office.

For a long time I didn't want to use any of these devices in my home. However, I decided to go ahead when they were on sale. Now that I have it, I really do like it. It is so much easier to find out the weather by asking Alexa than it is to go to the weather app on my phone. It is really much easier to find out answers to many other questions and when I want to hear a specific song or many it is absolutely perfect.

I bought one of these to try it out and was having so much fun with it that I went back to buy another one. It was easy to set up the first one and even easier to set up the second one. I subscribed to the Unlimited Music app and it is great. One subscription works for both of them. While I'm working or just relaxing I can tell Alexa to play a certain song or a shuffle of songs by artist, year or category and I can even have the same song playing on both at the same time.

I like it! It has a better sound than the Gen 2 for music. It will also turn on and off items.

Easy set up. Set up to work with the tv and the sound is really good.

Easy to activate and sounds great for the size. Love being able to control things from any room in the house.

I enjoy the echo dots. I have them throughout my house. Though sometimes she may not appropriately hear my commands, Alexa gets the job done. I use her to answer questions I need an answer to, weather, turn on my various devices throughout my house. She is connected to my door and I can command her to open and close the door. I can also use her to turn on my thermostat to what ever temperature I like.

Upgrade over 2nd generation is noticeable. Speaker sounds great. Product looks and feels good. Have three in the house now.

Alexa is a great addition to any home! The new 3rd generation is a little more sleek looking, and has better built in sound.

I loved my echo. It the price was so reasonable and we use it everyday. I make store lis ton my echo, recipes , dance in my kitchen with my kids. It is the most helpful speaker you will find. I also check the weather everyday before leaving my home.

Im not going to lie here, I bought this, and I barely use it. I use it as a glorified speaker for Spotify. The sound quality is good but there's very little bass. Alex understands me most of the time, but with every smart device it has its moments where it doesn't understand properly. I do take advantage of the skills when I remember though, those tend to be useful. The price I got it at was great, the normal price isn't worth it though. I don't think I would recommend this until its on sale again and even then there might be something better to spend your money on.

Good speaker on the new model. The old one sucks. Very easy to use my 4 year old ask it a thousand questions.

Love the echo dot! Small, yet packs a lot of sound and doesn’t take up much space. Recommend!

Works like any other echo dot device, sound quality great. It's easy to setup and wifi connection is strong.

This pod got included with another purchase for free, I’ve got a braket that it helps hiding the cord and it hangs the pod on the wall attached to the outlet (which should be an item offer by manufacturer) it helps on managing the pod. Sound is good but I believe it should have been also designed to give more flexibility to equalize sound and voice since the pitch on it is very low, sometimes I can’t hear clearly when I ask for the weather report.
