Alexa turn off lights

I have my fan and lights connected to it so I don’t have to get up to turn on/off lights or fan. The sound is very good for a room. Can also be used for small parties

I’m glad I waited though the 3rd generation has a good look about it. It functions really well. The speaker has a good volume to it and the mic picks up without any trouble. Ive been playing with the lights in my house for about 30 minutes now just in awe of this technology. The more I pay attention to technology the more I see ‘compatible with alexa’. I do not regret this purchase, I’m just going to need more bulbs.

I absolutely LOVE my Dot.

I am able to turn my TV on and off with it, switch input modes on the TV, get the weather, set reminders, etc. My favorite feature is the shopping list. I no longer forget to pick things up at the store. I ask Echo to add things to my list as I think of them. So awesome!
