I had some trouble setting it up. the app I was using kept rejecting my security word. once I got it set up it works great with my Toshiba tv.

Good companion for Alexa enabled devices

He uses it so that he can navigate over the air channels hands free. The amazement on his face when he learned he didn't even need to use a remote anymore was priceless. Some of the set up is a bit complicated, but nothing that cannot be solved with a little patience. If you do not have a good internet / wifi connection, this may not work so well so please keep that in mind - every so often my dad has trouble with it responding and usually that is when his internet is being wonky.

Solid upgrade from the 2nd gen with more bass!

It has an undeniable level of additional bass that I never experienced with the second generation dot. It's well and more rounded than the previous model.
