    It is neat, but I find myself unplugging it half the time for fear that I accidentally call someone or record a weird message. I like that it can play podcasts and radio stations, but I wish that Amazon didn’t constantly try get you to upgrade to Prime. The initial price is low, but to upgrade the device you will have to pay to “upgrade” The speaker on this device is tiny and weak, but you can easily use an AUX wire (or Bluetooth) to connect to a stereo.

    At times this gen of echo dot doesn’t pick up our voices as well as the Gen2. I have this in my living room, and my Gen 2 in the kitchen will pick up my voice prior to this one.
