    So impressed by the quality and improvements of the 3rd generation Dots! We keep one in each area of our home, two previous generations and two 3rd generations. I find myself moving to the areas with the 3rd gens, because they really are that much better!

    Can't say I really wanted this thing, but it was free with the purchase of another item (don't remember what item it was). The only reason I allowed it in our home is because it remained unplugged and in the box. I planned to give it to a neighbor, but since we returned the item that allowed us to have it, I took it back to the store. I don't believe in having something in our home that is always listening.

    for the price you might get it thinking it will be a little fun, but the longer you have one, the more you find to do with it. speaker sounds a little better than the 2nd gen version.
