We use it primarily to turn on/off lights in the home but also use it for the limited security feature that it provides (NOT compatible with my DropCam/Nest cameras). It's nice to stream my local talk radio station and SiriusXM stations in the kitchen. Looking back, I wish I had gotten the one with the built in clock for the bedroom.

MAKES MY LIFE SO MUCH EASIER

Weather reports, AMAZON Deliveries, fact checking, can turn on and off lights, stream music from many sources and so much more! What it does not know it can learn on the program that teaches it about your interests. Wonderful add on to making my retirement so much easier. One of the best features is the audio, no more typing and searching just ask Alexa!

It does look much more premium so it looks better sitting out.

easiest intercom to set up

Finally decided to set it up & in glad I did. It's nice to be able to just tell Alexa what kind of music you want & it's on immediately. I set reminders & grocery lists. Alexa even tells me when I've had an Amazon package delivered.

It is also great now to play music in my bedroom among the other skills that it can do without being limited to just having one Alexa Echo unit in another room.
