Good smart speaker

Use mainly for playing music from Spotify or Pandora, and for setting timers. Also works to turn my smart bulbs off and on.

I have now bought several for different rooms in my house and am quite pleased with their functionality.

Alexa invasion

You buy one and then suddenly you have ten around your house and you are setting up routines and commands... and then swearing at Alexa when you forget the commands. And then yelling at her because you forget how to organize words into a coherent question. Definitely worth the cost of not having to get out of bed to turn off the lights - winning in the ultimate laziest way possible. Does it sound as good as the 2nd gen regular sized one? No, but for the $30 I can live with the audio quality. My husband, husband, the audio snob, cannot, which is why we also have half a dozen of the second gen mid-tier ones as well. Alexa definitely invaded our house.
