It is easy to use and set up and has all the capabilities as the previous Echo Dots, as well as new ones. It has an updated appearance that is superior to previous models.

Pretty good overall

The speaker can barely be heard over my fan sometimes which is a pain. Blueprints are pretty glitchy. Hopefully they update the software to allow for name correction as hearing her say my name wrong several times a day is irritating. Overall it works as expected for the most part. I bought two and I'm satisfed.

Provide a Separate External Speaker

They supplement a full-sized Echo. It provides all of the features of the full-sized Echo with a much less rich sound. If you want Alexa to answer your questions, play NPR, or control your IOT devices, this is great. If you're an audiophile, you won't be happy with the sound.
