    Unit performs well but seems to lose network connection every evening for a hour or so. All is well the next morning. Curious? Overall pleased with unit.

    I think the google home is slightly better in terms of user interface but still a good assistant and works decently for music playing too. Not bad

    She’s always listening and somehow she knows what I want. Other than the creepiness of our relationship this has been very helpful around the house. The speaker is surprisingly quite nice and a definite improvement over gen 1 and 2.

    I got this Echo Dot for free with a recent tv purchase otherwise I would not have purchased it. It is fun to play with and see what it can do but the charm wore off for me very quickly. I don’t really use it, but my girlfriend loves it. It can do things like set alarms/reminders, play music, and other things most smart phones do. The biggest use for us is just to play music.
